Rachel Goldstein

New York, NY

I was born and raised in Manhattan, NY. All throughout my childhood I was constantly begging my mom to let me use her camera. For as long as I remember I always loved creating stories. This varied from creating paper books, to taking photos, to writing stories to making music videos on Photo Booth in middle school.

I am passionate about storytelling. This passion developed during my days at Trevor Day School, my primary school. And continued growing during my undergraduate career at Brandeis University, where I double majored in Film Television and Interactive Media and Anthropology and double minored in Creative Writing and English. I believe visual media is an incredible medium in which we can create and tell stories. My lifelong goal is to create, learn and be a part of that process.

Outside of my passions and career goals- I enjoy cooking, spending time with my friends and family, petting dogs that pass me by in the street, discovering new music, scrolling through Instagram for the most relevant memes and trying to make people laugh.

I have created this website to showcase all of the work I have done. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want to correspond about any content. Thank you!
